A: SHR (Super Hair Removal) is a major advancement in IPL technology. It uses a higher repetition rate with lower energy density. Instead of delivering single high-energy blasts, SHR gradually heats the hair follicles through "in-motion" scanning, making the treatment much faster and more comfortable for the patient.
A: Our IPL systems feature adjustable filters and pulse durations, making them safe for a variety of skin tones. However, for very dark skin (Fitzpatrick Type VI), we generally recommend our Diode Laser series for hair removal to ensure maximum safety.
A: For hair removal, most clients require 6 to 8 sessions due to the hair growth cycle. For skin rejuvenation or pigmentation removal, significant improvements can often be seen in 3 to 5 sessions, depending on the severity of the condition.
